The Basic Life Support (BLS) Course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course emphasizes the delivery of high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), effective ventilations, and the early use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to improve patient outcomes.
Based on the latest science and educational standards from the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), this course provides hands-on training in both individual and team-based resuscitation scenarios.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Recognize life-threatening emergencies and activate the appropriate emergency response system.
Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants.
Deliver effective rescue breaths using barrier devices and bag-mask ventilation.
Demonstrate the safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Apply relief techniques for choking victims of all ages.
Work effectively as part of a resuscitation team in both in-hospital and pre-hospital settings.
