The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS) skills and focuses on the management of cardiopulmonary emergencies and other cardiovascular conditions. The course emphasizes the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR, effective team dynamics, systematic patient assessment, and advanced interventions in critical situations.
Based on the latest science and educational recommendations from the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), the ACLS course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills required to manage adult patients experiencing cardiac arrest, stroke, acute coronary syndromes, and other life-threatening cardiovascular emergencies.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Recognize and manage respiratory and cardiac arrest situations.
Apply advanced airway management techniques.
Interpret and manage common cardiac rhythms.
Utilize pharmacological interventions during cardiovascular emergencies.
Perform effective team-based resuscitation and communication.
Manage peri-arrest conditions, including bradycardia and tachycardia.
Recognize and initiate early management of acute stroke and acute coronary syndromes.
Integrate high-performance team dynamics into emergency response situations.

Prerequisites

Certification
Participants who successfully complete the course requirements will receive an American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Provider Certificate, subject to AHA certification requirements.
